On occasion, we may need to hold an online meeting when in-person isn’t feasible.
Here are some tips for accessing online meetings.
Meeting links or information to call in will be sent out via email and Remind. We will not post that information on the website. If you haven’t received the link for an upcoming online meeting, please contact us.
To join via computer:
Open the meeting link in the Chrome or Edge browser for the best experience.
If you have the Teams desktop application installed, the link may launch this app. This is ok, if you prefer to use it, but not necessary.
To join via a smartphone or tablet:
- Install the Teams mobile app from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2225439. You do not need to login to the app, just install it.
- Click the meeting link above, which should open the Teams app.
- If prompted for a name, enter your name and click Join.
Meeting tips:
- When you’re not speaking, please mute your microphone.
- If your computer doesn’t have a microphone or speakers, join the meeting on your computer AND call in to the meeting on your phone, to get audio.
- If your connection is choppy, consider turning off your camera. If that doesn’t help, joining by phone may be a better option.
